This is a quick and easy option for homeowners who prefer to have their survey conducted digitally online.
All you have to do is complete the online survey and we will guide you through the survey process, assessing your current system and your heating and hot water requirements.
In-Home Survey
During the survey appointment, a surveyor will visit your home and examine your current heating system. This will include the existing boiler, gas meter and bathrooms etc.
They’ll also ask you about your requirements for heating and hot water.
Each Survey will produce a quote:
At the end of each survey you will be given a quote for your new boiler installation.

There are three main ways of installing your new boiler and each has a different level of complexity:

A straight swap installation is also known as a like-for-like swap. This is a type of boiler installation that involves replacing your current system with a boiler of the same type, in the same place.

This is generally the quickest type of boiler installation as it requires very little change. It can often be completed in just one day.

Details: A boiler relocation installation requires moving your new boiler to a different location within your property.
This could slightly prolong the installation process. Your boiler engineer may have to make changes to the existing pipework or they may have to cap the current pipework. This is in addition to installing any new elements to the new location.
Install Time:
This adjustment could add another day on to the standard one day installation making it up to 2 days of installation*.
*It’s worth noting that the further away you choose to install your new boiler, the longer the installation is likely to take which will also have an impact on your price.

Type of installation: System upgrade
Installation Details:
System upgrade installations are where homeowners choose to change the type of boiler they have installed in the property.
For example, switching from a heat only boiler to a combi boiler would be considered a system upgrade. Combi boilers have become the most popular boiler type in the UK, so many people choose to upgrade to this type of system from the older heat only boiler variety.
Install Time:
An upgrade could make your installation take up to 3 days* or more depending on the complexity of the job.

Upgrading your gas mains:
Upgrading your gas mains can sometimes be required if you have an older system. Often the pipework may not be suitable for the new boiler you want installed so it will need to be replaced*.
*If the size of your gas installation pipework doesn’t meet the requirements for your new boiler, it has to be changed.
Completing this could take your engineer a few extra hours depending on the complexity of the job, thus adding time to your installation.
